Delta Air Lines had a very good year last year. Instead of just verbally thanking its employees for the company's strong performance, it announced it would pay them $1.6 billion in profit-sharing bonuses. That means every eligible employee will receive a check next month for 16.6% of their annual salary, which is the equivalent of an additional two months' pay. Johnson Controls International plc today reported a fiscal third quarter 2020 GAAP loss per share from continuing operations, including special items, of $0.24. Excluding these items, adjusted earnings per share (“EPS”) from continuing operations was $0.67, up 3% versus the prior year period.

Amazon is looking to hire 100,000 new employees for its warehouse and delivery operations in the U.S. to keep up with demand during the current coronavirus outbreak, the company said today.
