On December 27, Conversation AI recruitment platform, Paradox announced that it received $200M in Series C investment. Venture firms that participated in the round included names like Stripes, Thoma Bravo, Sapphire, Workday Ventures, Indeed, Willoughby Capital, Blue Cloud Ventures, Twilio Ventures, Geodesic, DLA Piper Venture Fund, Principia Growth and Brighton Park Capital.
Paradox uses its AI to empower recruiters, hiring managers, and talent acquisition professionals with a conversational AI assistant named Olivia. Paradox has helped leading companies like Unilever, Nestle, CVS Health, McDonald’s, General Motors and many more. The AI assistant uses automation to simplify everyday hiring tasks like screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and onboarding.
In five years, Olivia has been used by over 500+ international companies to reduce costs by saving millions of hours of manual, repetitive work.

Paradox is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona and has offices in Tel Aviv, Singapore, and Vietnam, as well as Baltimore and Chicago. The firm is set to scale its team and efforts in a bid to ramp up client success, product management, and sales and implementation of its solutions. With the $200M investment, the company’s market valuation increases to $1.5 billion.
