Hanover School Division Custodial Employees Ratify Four-Year Collective Agreement

Members of Local 306, employed as custodians by Hanover School Division ratified their fifth collective agreement recently. Highlights of the four-year agreement include improvements to vacation pay, family sick leave, access to overtime, and competitive wage increases in each year. No retroactive pay was involved, as the Hanover School Division and CLAC reached an agreement just before the last agreement expired. Employees will receive an immediate two percent increase effective July 1, and will also participate in CLAC’s extended health benefits plan.
