Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM Now Supports Payroll in France

Oracle | June 01, 2022

Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM
On May 31st, leading software solutions provider Oracle, announced that it plans to launch Oracle France Payroll, a tool on the Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM. The new solution will enable organizations to navigate compliance, develop automated workflows and accelerate payroll processing for employees in France. The Oracle France Payroll addition to the Oracle Cloud HCM will deliver integrated support for countries like Bahrain, China, Qatar, Canada, Kuwait, Mexico, U.A.E, U.K. and the U.S., with support for India and Oman to follow.

France is known for having the most complex payroll in all of Europe. The country requires employers to withhold and report income for a range of taxes on behalf of over 30 million French employees.

"Payroll is one of the single most important functions for keeping a workforce running smoothly. Employees have zero tolerance for mistakes or delays when it comes to their compensation, no matter how complicated the local rules and regulations are. It's essential that organizations use a cloud-based payroll system that natively integrates with their core HR systems to automatically stay up to date with changes in regulations and their workforce. The upcoming launch of Oracle France Payroll is a huge opportunity for local and multinational companies operating in France to benefit from that integration in their HR and payroll operations."

-Holger Muller, principal analyst, Constellation Research

The Oracle France Payroll platform will empower organizations in multiple ways. One of them is eliminating manual processes and reducing payroll errors. The automation of highly complex rules will enable clients to easily meet compliance standards and reporting requirements. The platform will allow multinationals in France to expand their operations with one powerful payroll solution.

"In France, the government and collective bargaining groups are constantly changing the laws and agreements regarding taxes and compensation in hopes of improving working conditions for employees. That can make it challenging for organizations to stay up-to-date on the latest processes they need to follow to pay their employees accurately and fairly. With Oracle France Payroll, local and multinational organizations with employees in France will be able to automate payroll operations to pay their workers quickly and accurately. Frequent and automatic updates will help ensure payroll operations are always in compliance, even as laws and contracts change."
