2018 Hiring Trends by State and Industry

ManpowerGroup has released its Q1 2018 Employment Outlook Survey findings based on results from a survey of over 11,000 employers across the U.S. The survey revealed key insights, such as: S. employers have the strongest Q1 hiring intentions in over a decade. In fact, 21% of employers are planning to hire in the coming quarter. The transportation and utilities sectors are reporting the strongest payroll increases since the survey started in the first quarter of 1982. Employers in construction and the durable goods manufacturing sectors forecast the strongest outlooks in more than a decade.
