For over 60 years, Global Communities has been working closely with communities in more than 80+ countries across the globe to bring about sustainable changes that improve the livelihoods of the vulnerable. The organization makes a difference by engaging withcommunities, governments, the private sector and NGOs as partners for good – bringing together complementary strengths and shared responsibilities to work toward common goals. In early 2015, Global Communities deployed an organization-wide employee survey, which revealed that employees were adamant about receiving better training and development opportunities. David Weiss, president and CEO of the organization, recognized that in order to continue supporting the organization’s mission and meet current and future organizational objectives, it was imperative to fulfill these requests and invest in the development of Global Communities’ workforce.
