Living lab: Portland's Mammoth HR tests trends like unlimited PTO on its own staff

With talent development, retention and recruitment top of mind for tech companies in the region, I thought it would be interesting to talk to a human resources-focused company that works with a lot of small tech companies here and nationally to learn what trends they are seeing.Last week I spoke with Nathan Christensen, CEO of Mammoth HR(formerly HRAnswerLink). Mammoth is an HR technology and consulting company that creates a platform to provide HR tools, services and expertise to smaller businesses and organizations nationwide. While large companies usually have the resources to build an HR department to help them handle issues related to their employees, small companies often don’t.
