BEYOND 2021: Western Cities HR Conference 2021

This virtual event focuses on the fast-moving world of recruitment and talent acquisition technologies. These technologies help organize, facilitate and enhance the quality of the talent acquisition process. Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) are, of course, a foundational recruitment technology used by HR experts to help track and manage job candidates, organize hiring processes, and help hiring teams collaborate. Increasingly, however, an ATS is just one of multiple important technologies that may include recruitment marketing platforms, resume screening applications, assessment tools, video interviewing platforms, interview scheduling applications, recruitment chatbots and more.

Historically, women have always played a prominent role in society and been decision-makers. Contrarily, the roles of women in the workforce have been negligent. As per the global statistics, only 6% of women are working in leadership positions and this number further dipped during the pandemic. We are proud to present the 2nd Annual Women Leaders Summit MENA 2023. With this summit, we want to progress to another dimension of conversation that moves beyond women’s empowerment. We strongly believe that women have evolved from a paradigm of discussion to a spectrum that challenges the conventional norm of how women are perceived in the workplace. This summit creates an ecosystem for everyone to thrive together. We bring together great women achievers who will share their struggles, journey, stories, and successes with other aspiring women. Our last edition was a testimony of this celebration where we had women leaders from various sectors discussing this new evolution.

Year after year, executives from across the globe have come to the HRcoreLAB with a common purpose; to discuss the current state of the people function and investigate how it can be improved in order to continue to contribute to business success in the future.

Human Resources professionals are faced with constant change as their organizations work to advance goals, develop projects, and shape the corporate culture of senior management and its workforce. It falls to them to implement strategies from the top down, and also to understand feedback and input from grassroots and frontline workers. Human Resources bridges divides between individuals, teams, departments, and jurisdictions that otherwise may have little direct contact. Strategic human resources management encompasses many trends, including talent acquisition, development, and retention, digital transformation, the ‘New Normal of Work, outsourcing HR, new thinking on human capital management, and so many other issues and ideas. CHROs and other HR executives need to innovate and collaborate as they engage individually and collectively with new and ongoing challenges and opportunities.
