The Big 5 (OCEAN) test follows the Five-Factor Model (FFM) theory and can be used for every job role or team. It gives you important insights into test-takers' behavior, personalities, and five specific personality dimensions: openness, conscientiousness, extroversion, agreeableness, and emotional stability. This will help you match candidates with the roles that are the most suitable for them and enrich your learning and development conversations with existing employees.

In the Big 5 Personality test, test-takers have 10 minutes to score various statements on a scale from 1 to 5, from very inaccurate to very accurate. This personality quiz test helps you assess existing teams’ dynamics and identify learning, development, and growth opportunities. It can also be used as a tool to gain a deeper understanding of your candidates’ strengths, but you shouldn’t base your hiring decisions on their results.

The Five-Factor Model follows the work of various researchers over three decades who analyzed the verbal descriptions of human behavior. The long list of traits was condensed into the five main traits proposed in this model, which are thought to significantly affect a person's personality and behavior.

With this big five test, you can see test-takers’ scores for each factor and understand how different personality traits influence their actions and behavior, enabling you to identify learning and growth opportunities.
