JobsDB collaborates with FutureLearn to provide free educational leadership and human resource courses.

JobsDB has collaborated with FutureLearn, a UK-based digital education platform, to promote the DBHK Level-up initiative, which provides one free online course to each eligible applicant to help them build new skills for better jobs.

The initiative, which aims to upskill job seekers and workers and accelerate their careers, is available in six regions from March 29 to May 31. There are 10,000 seats set aside for Hong Kong-based talent.

The English-medium courses focus mainly on enhancing emerging digital skills and transferable skills, including UX/UI, digital marketing, fintech, big data or analytics, HR, leadership, and management skills.

Meanwhile, courses on soft skills are also available, such as logical thinking, organizational psychology, workplace behavior, successful job-seeking strategies, and recruitment theories.

Founded in 2012, FutureLearn is jointly owned by The Open University, a public research university and one of the largest universities in the UK for undergraduate education.
