Perceptyx Equips Human Resource Leaders for the Talent War; Acquires Waggl and CultureIQ

Perceptyx, the leading employee listening and people analytics platform has announced two acquisitions that will provide companies with even more dynamic feedback to fulfill post-pandemic employee expectations. Waggl, an employee feedback solution that crowdsources employee comments and suggestions in real-time, and CultureIQ, a research-backed solution for evaluating current culture and addressing culture gaps, have been acquired.

According to the United States Labor Department, over 4 million people quit their employment in April 2021, the highest number on record. Amid a talent crisis, the need to constantly listen to employees and create improved engagement and retention tactics has emerged as a key organizational priority. These two acquisitions will strengthen Perceptyx’s continuous listening capabilities, increase its market share in the United States and Europe, and solidify its leadership in enterprise-class employee experience.

Waggl is an agile employee listening system that enables companies to collect real-time employee feedback on particular problems through short pulse surveys, then crowdsource—allowing employees to suggest and vote on possible solutions. Waggl facilitates essential topic conversation between managers and their teams and keeps managers accountable by following up with employees to assess how effectively the company reacted to their input. This closed-loop approach increases engagement by up to 20%.

3M, BJC Healthcare, Frontier Communications, Paychex, and UCHealth are among the major companies that utilize Waggl in the healthcare, manufacturing, and communications sectors. For example, Waggl is used by a multinational beverage company to collect feedback from 270,000 employees about productivity impediments. As a result, it was able to detect critical issues and take prompt action. In addition, a national financial services institution requested feedback from its 9,000 employees on a planned post-pandemic workplace setup and made critical changes fast.

CultureIQ is renowned for its unique Culture Framework, which allows companies to identify their cultural strengths and weaknesses and align culture with strategy. It is backed by over 50 years of cultural research. Customers of CultureIQ include organizations in the technology, retail, and financial services sectors in the United States and Europe. CultureIQ clients will expand their employee listening and engagement program beyond culture with the Perceptyx platform, getting a complete picture of workplace factors that impact individual performance and organizational success.
